I believe that government has three primary responsibilities – Public Safety, Public Schools and Public Infrastructure. Within the context of these priorities, government must provide accessibility to services and to their representative as well as accountability and transparency, to show that tax dollars are wisely spent. Are you looking for common sense solutions that place people and communities first? Are you looking for serious business development incentives at the local level?

Raised in an extended family that was very involved in community, political and charitable works, I began volunteering alongside my parents as a young child and began working on projects independently as a teen. I attended Florida Southern College and later Virginia Commonwealth University, completing degrees in Psychology and Rehabilitation Services. I’ve lived in the city of Richmond for the past 17 years, 15 of them in Woodland Heights where I presently live with my husband and first grader.

My campaign will be only as strong as our volunteers — people from all over the 5th District who are willing to lend their time and their talents to see Richmond’s 5th District grow and prosper for all of its citizens.
